Questions and answers of the customers
- A Our price is 68 plus shipping, so I can only guess that someone is trying to sell short dated product.
- A This product is certified soy free.Other Ingredients: Whey Protein Isolate, Cocoa, Natural Flavors, Xanthan Gum, Xylitol, Organic Stevia Leaf Extract, Sea Salt, Sunflower Lecithin.
- A chocolate flavored is not that strong but I prefer it over unflavored. Pricing q is to seller.
- A Unfortunately we do not offer this product in sample packets. It does come in a smaller 1.8 lb size.
- A We have not made any recent changes to the formulation of the chocolate whey protein isolate. Please report the lot number (which can be found on the bottom of the product) to our Customer Service team through our website so we can better resolve this issue.
- A There is no gluten in the ingredient list. This product is not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, egg, fish or shellfish ingredients. It is however oroduced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
- A Yes.
- A NOW Sports is at full retail and they sell it to Amazon for much less.
- A No real good answer. I would assume is has to due with FDA rounding rules. There appears to be a 1 gram of protein difference in the 2 sizes. It may only be a difference of an ounce as anything over .5 is rounded up when under.5 is rounded down. It is possible that the real numbers are 24.4 rounded to 24 vs. 24.5 rounded to 25. Not sure but this could be the answer.
- A Send it back. Never trust an open or damaged container.
- A I haven't seen protein powders in singles in over a decade. Myoplex and a few others used to do it especially when they introduce a new product or flavor.
- A I wouldn't say so. From time to time, there might be slight variations, like in the amount of vanilla flavoring. But that's rare and the variation so slight as to be easily confused with imagination. "Foamy chemical taste" doesn't match my experience at all.
- A I'm under the impression that only trace amounts of lactose (and milk fat for that matter) remain in this whey isolate product. As a person with mild lactose intolerance, I do not experience lactose related issues with Now Foods whey isolate products (goes for vanilla, choco, and unflavored). So I'm inclined to believe that is is as good as "lactose free". (Related Reading lol) If you are worried about it, consider using lactase enzyme drops - I put a drop in every serving of milk or other lactose product (ice cream, etc) that I eat & life is good lol! actually, i put about 15-20 drops in ever gallon of milk I buy (make you own Lactaid).
- A This product is recommended as a fitness supplement, not a meal replacement.
- A I am lactose intolerant. So I always stick to whey isolate which has very little lactose compared to concentrate. For comparison I cannot tolerate even a bite of ice cream or a tablespoon worth of milk in my coffee. But this protein is fine for me.
- A They probably are reworking it. It has a very bad taste of plastic to it.
- A The item has them if you scroll through the photos and zoom in on them. They’re listed as mg per serving (one level scoop)
- A Amy I answered I did not know; however, the info on the product states that it is cross flow microfiltered. At this time I would believe it is still.
- A Terrible aftertaste with water. Not bad with 2% milk. I tend to drink them pretty quick and after a minute the taste goes away and it's not a big deal at all. Flavor is my lowest priority when it comes to protein powder thigh.
- A Today's protein powders (especially isolates) are filtered so that they will dissolve in virtually any liquid as long as you don't add it too thick. Even so, they are sticky so its best shaken than stirred. I've tried mixing mine with coffee and it clumps before it dissolves since you can't stir it fast enough before the heat fuses it. You can mix the protein first, then add the coffee. But you end up with coffee flavored protein, not coffee with protein.
- A YES! Just save your old scoop for a bit in case the new one is buried deep in the bucket.
- A Stevia!!!!! No artificial sweeteners!!! I'm a personal trainer and I recommend this to my clients, and they seem to love the way it taste! Pour so Tart Cherry in it and it's even more amazing!
- A I didn't bother
- A No, any added amino acids would be additional ingredients and be disclosed on the label. We don’t add any in this formula. The typical amino acid content shown on the label is based on the protein alone and provided for convenience.
