    A Yes and now that it is Informed Sport and Informed Choice Certified it’s tested for over 200+ banned substances.

    A One can easily buy on honeyville grain(internet online store) maltodextrin for $75(shipping included) for a 50lb. bag of maltodextrin; that is only $1.50/lb. and a 12lbs of maltodextrin would only cost $18(shipping included); save even more money and/or get more maltodextrin for the same amount of money.

  4. Q How is pure maltodextrin being billed as a complex carb when it is absolutely not?
    A Maltodextrin meets the definition of a complex carbohydrate: it contains glucose polymers that must be digested to provide glucose. It is one of the easiest digested complex carbs with a relatively high glycemic index rating, but that does not change what physical structure it has.

    A Its bulk density is .4 to .6 g/mL; as a natural substance, it has natural variability.

    A It comes in a metallic colored packaging but the Orange "Now Foods" image in that picture is the label that is on the front of the metallic package

    A There’s not?
  12. Q What is the shelf life of this item?
    A The Carbo Gain I purchased was in a 2 lb. plastic bottle and the 12 lb. is in a bag. There is no label stating the shelf life, so I am not sure of the shelf life. I purchased the product a while ago and mine has not gone bad. I am not sure if the seal at the top of the bag would have anything to do with the product lasting longer.
  13. Q Is this vegan?
    A It's made from corn. It does not have any meat, soy or dairy ingredients. So yes this would be vegan.
  14. Q is there any way that this wouldn't be 100% maltodextrin? There have been other supplements that have banned substances in them. Just want to be sure
    A maltodextrin is just another form of sugar. This is ok to take.
  15. Q Is this product GMO?
    A i would assume that any bulk or mass-produced corn product is from BT, unless otherwise specified.
