NOWВ® Sports Organic Pea Protein is a non-GMO vegetable protein isolate that has 15 grams of easily-digested protein. Each 2 scoop serving typically has over 2,700 mg of branched-chain amino acids, and over 1,300 mg of arginine. NOWВ® Sports Organic Pea Protein is pure and natural, unflavored, and mixes easily into your favorite beverages.

Questions and answers of the customers

  1. A Food & Dietary supplements containing small traces of certain chemicals are legally required to have a Prop 65 warning in order to be sold in the state of California. For more specific information as to the reason why some of our NOW products list this warning feel free to check out our FAQ page on www.nowfoods.com.
  2. A The container says: "ingredient: Pure, Organic Pea Protein Isolate from yellow peas (Pisum sativum) (Non-GMO)."
  3. A Yes. Only pea protein. Gluten free on label. Also no yeast, egg, soy, milk, fish or shellfish or tree nuts. You should be good. I photoed the label but don't see a way to attach the photo. Look into naet treatment for your gluten allergy: very effective therapy with a good, certified naet practitioner.
  4. A It has 9 essential and 9 non-essential listed.
  5. A yes. it can be used like soy flour or protein.we have this ready for prompt shipment from grounds for tea
  6. A here is why this happens. if the company that originally listed this item on amazon failed to also post a copy of the supplement ( nutrition ) facts, it is next to impossible for the other sellers ( who would later also want to sell this item ) make additions or amendments to the listing. i have tried many time to domany times !we have this ready for prompt shipment fromgrounds for tea
  7. A ingredients: pure organic pea protein isolate from yellow peas ( pisum sativium ). non-gmo.we have this ready for prompt shipment via priority mail from grounds for tea
  8. A If it is organic, chemicals were not used. See link belowhttp://www.nowfoods.com/Pea-Protein-Organic-1-5-lbs.htm
  9. A Here is the response I received from Now"The Pea protein products are from US and Canadian peas- processed in China by a high quality, natural and proprietary production process without solvents. Here is the Processing: Peas are dried to produce pea flour. Then the flour is hydrated in the wet process portion. After starch & fiber separation, the protein is coagulated, purified & carefully dried in a multi-stage spray dryer (low level of denaturation). Max temps are not disclosed by our supplier. Then the product is shipped back to America and analyzed for quality* at NOW advanced in –house analytical lab, before packaging, then random lot sampled afterwards to ensure label claim is met. This quality processing method preserves the protein so it is non-denatured.The Pea protein pesticide residue is undetectable at ppb (parts per billion) levels. All packaging and quality testing is done here in U.S. We test ALL raw materials for heavy metals and adulterants and have been doing this for many years. 10. A https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=now+pea+protein+arganine+content&view=detailv2&&id=30893F2628A3F371EED9F1EDCBBFD683F03F74E4&selectedIndex=6&ccid=EbMcZsat&simid=608045629431678800&thid=OIP.M11b31c66c6ad8ad7a99451abc90cfb15o0&ajaxhist=0
  11. A Best to look at the nutrition label on the container which you can see in the ad
  12. A This pea protein is not fermented, nor pressure cooked. These are not raw peas, which have more lectins than peas cooked in water. The processing is summarized as repeatedly heating and centrifuging to separate and concentrate the protein with a very low level of denaturation, using water as a solvent. The TH Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University reports that hot water processing tends to remove lectins, not just pressure cooking or fermentation, and that there is little clinical data on people to confirm the theoretical concerns about lectins and human health.
  13. A Peg, There should be a scoop, but during shipment it may have settled into the powder. If you find that you don't have one, please contact the retailer via email or phone (you should see contact information on your order emails or packing slip and invoice). Hope this helps!
  14. A This is sold by weight and not volume. They use the same size bottle to package a number of different products.
  15. A we only have organic. i will report the error to amazon.we have this item ready for prompt shipment.thanks
  16. A The label say" produce is a facility that has nut tree products. so, the safe answer is yes.
  17. A nothing added - just organic pea protein.we have them ready for prompt shipment via priority mailfrom grounds for tea
  18. A You need to make sure you know how much protein is in the meal replacement shake. You never want to put too much concentrated protein in your body at once. Otherwise, it should mix very well.
  19. A Interesting question.... I don't know, but I am super curious. I really didn't catch that when I switched from NOW regular pea protein to NOW organic
  20. A They have shipped quickly in the past, I have auto ship set up and they are great!
  21. A I do not know why the increase. I am no longer using it.

  23. A The suggested usage is 2 level scoops (20g) & the total is 680g = 34 servings. However, it's not the best tasting protein, so I mix it with egg white powder & whey protein isolate. I only use about 1 scoop for a smoothie. One of my favorite smoothies is low fat choc milk, 1 TBSP cashew/sunflower/almond or organic peanut butter, 1/2 banana & protein powder mixture. Sometimes I add pecans/cashews or walnuts for more texture. All mixed with 1 cup crushed ice in blender.
  24. A No phosphorus listed on the label whatsoever.
  25. A Every consumer is entitled to their own opinions. However, you can check out https://www.nowfoods.com/now/nowledge/nows-gmp-dietary-supplement-program-report to see our reports on health and safety.
  26. A It's a powder. I don't know how you would use it to make burgers.
