  1. Q 7 keto dhea (acetate 7- one ) is banned substance for wnbf athlete?
    A From googling this, I see that it appears to be a banned substance. I'm not sure if NOW supplement would have the same strength or dosage to be considered banned. I never found that this 7-Keto did anything for me in losing weight.
  2. Q what is the difference in 7-keto and straight DHEA supplement?
    A 7-keto-DHEA is a by-product of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), a chemical that is formed in the body. DHEA is a "parent hormone" produced by glands near the kidneys. But unlike DHEA, 7-keto-DHEA is not converted to steroid hormones such as androgen and estrogen.
  3. Q Is 7-keto a natural cortisone??
    A Absolutely NOT! IT IS DHEA WITH A KETONE attached to it so that it is supposed to negate the hormonal effects of DHEA. Guess what, the 7 Keri elevated my PSA to abnormal!
  4. Q I'm comparing the 7-keto in this brand with the one on jarrow. what's the difference between "dhea acetate-7-one" and "7-oxo-dehydroepiandrosterone" ?
    A 7-keto is a patented compound somewhat (forits use in a number of applications) ..and has various synonymous chemical names (check wikipedia for example). I think 7-keto fr various manufacturers are essentially the same chemical compound. The performance or review for 7-keto seems to show mixed pattern..i think in part, this is due to (as what ive stated in my original review) the bacteria or gut microbiome one has in the tummy. However, my experience with NOW 7-keto lean gels was good, including NOW 7-keto 100mg veggie caps version. I cannot say how other brands perform..also, no one knows the QC for the product as this is not usually attached. I can only say NOW brand seems to performed well for me
  5. Q Does it work like exogenous ketones?
    A Originally they worked really well but after a certain period of time....I didn't see any results.
  6. Q What does this pill actually do? I am on the keto diet now?.
    A This particular formula has added Green Tea & couple other things, all supposed to help with managing weight. I did not find it helped. Maybe I should have taken it longer? Maybe I should have exercised more? Sorry I couldn't be more help!

    A No, it did not. But I was not having any energy problems before or after using the product. I already exercise regularlyat least 3-times a week and take an assortment of vitamin and mineral tablets.As I stated before the product did nothing for me, positive or negative.
  8. Q Do you take this with food or empty stomach?
    A Unless instructed otherwise, I always take meds with food. I don't recall if this supplement had any instructions. My wife and I tried it for a while and did not feel it had any effect.
  9. Q Are these exogenous ketones? I searched and these popped up.
    A Our factory rep reported that this item is classified as an exogenous ketone product.
