    A The new Re-Kaged uses MCT oil powder from coconuts that are spray dried on acacia fibre instead of maltodextrin which doesn’t spike blood sugar and is keto-friendly. New Re-Kaged has less than 1g of MCT oil compared to the previous version that had 3g-4g of coconut oil powder with maltodextrin, which is why you’ll notice a slight difference in serving size with the new formula. These symptoms should not be confused with lactose intolerance. Lactose is not present in whey isolates; therefore the underlying cause of the discomfort is peptide sensitivity. ProHydrolase® breaks down large peptides reducing the potential for discomfort that often comes from consuming whey isolates.

    A Re-Kaged contains 28 g of protein which includes 12.5 g of essential amino acids (6 g of which are BCAAs) and 1.5 g of patented creatine hcl, 3 g of fermented glutamine and 1.5 g of betaine anhydrous. If you're looking for strictly protein, Micropure Whey Protein Isolate would be a good option.
  13. Q What is the amount of sucralose per serving?
    A We use minimal amounts to mask the bitter aftertaste of stevia. Re-Kaged is mostly sweetened with stevia.

    A Keri has to do with the ratio of fats, protein, and carbohydrates. This is low in fat and carbohydrates but high in protein. To make it Keto friendly you would have to add fats to it.

    A Ah, I see! The confusion lies on the fact that you are looking at the scoop size being roughly 47g. however, those 47g. contain the 28g of protein as well as the BCAA's, L-Glutamine, Creatine HCL, etc. so the scoop itself is 47 grams but in those 47 grams there are 28 grams of protein. Hope that helps.
  21. Q Is it thick when mixed? Or thin like Pre-kaged?
    A That is a great questions! The consistency depends on how much water is added to the powder. With 8-10oz of water, it is slightly thicker in consistency than Pre-Kaged.
  22. Q Have people tried the strawberry lemonade? I have the orange cream right now and love it but wanted to mix it up!
    A I love the Strawberry because it is not too sweet. I am curious about trying the Orange, but can you tell me, is it really sweet or not? (I prefer less sweet and I like tart). Thank you!
  23. Q Can anyone translate the gorilla-math "directions" on this page into to English?
    A I believe Kaged wants you to consume 0.28 grams of protein per pound of body weight (28 grams per scoop / 100 pounds = 0.28). For example, a 200 lb individual x 0.28 = 56 grams of protein. Now, if you consumed 56 grams of protein x 5 = 280 grams of protein, which is a 280/200 = 1.4 grams per pound of body weight. Or, if you consumed 6 meals it would be a 1.68 grams of protein per body weight. When I had my health food store from 1998-2001, I wrote over 4000 diets, and I would do 1.3 grams per pound of body weight for leaning, and 1.6 grams per pound of body weight for bulking with natural individuals. So, Kaged Muscle is 1.4 - 1.68 grams of protein per pound of body weight, and it's about the same range that I would use for the Body for Life era contestants diets, natural bodybuilders, etc. Now, I recommend the weekend warriors about 1 gram of protein per lean muscle mass. In ending, if you weigh 200 pounds, at 1.4 grams of body weight it would be 56 grams. So, 56/28 grams per scoop = 2 scoops. Or, to break it down into grams, you would use 200x0.28=56/28 grams per scoop = 2 scoops or 47g per scoop is the serving size x 2 = 94g is the weight of the serving size for a 200 pound individual.
