Questions and answers of the customers
- A In 2010 Consumer Reports tested 15 brands and varieties of protein drinks for arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. Whey to Go did the best compared with the other 14. Some samples of Whey to Go showed a slight amount of arsenic (three servings measured at 4% of the maximum proposed by the U.S. Pharmacopeia; in other words, you could expect one serving to come in at 1.3% of the maximum for arsenic) and other samples of Whey to Go measured no arsenic. CR measured no cadmium, lead, or mercury in Whey to Go. Some of the other 14 protein drinks showed above the maximum proposed by the U.S. Pharmacopeia for one or another of those 4 metals, if you drink three servings. I wish CR would I wish CR would do an update, since it's been 5 years.
- A Whey is derived from Milk. Mark. herbalishous. Wayne, PA
- A The label states "This product is manufactured from cows not treated with rBGH, recombinant bovine growth hormone." I would recommend called Solgar, Inc. at 1-877-SOLGAR 4 or going to their website at solgar.com. Hope this helps.
- A Carbohydrates: 1.57 g --- Sugars 0.4 gNo artificial sweeteners
- A Serving per scoop. They give you scoop inside container. A little more than ounce per serving. 20 grams protein per scoop/ serving
- A There is no symbol on the package to indicate that this product is kosher. I recommend contacting the company directly to inquire further.
- A Proposition 65 requires the state of CA to maintain and update a list of chemicals known to the state to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity. This warning is a requirement in the state of CA. I looked up every ingredient of this product and did not find any of them on the list for Prop 65. I have used this product for several years and have had no adverse effects from it. The taste is not super sweet (which I like), it mixes well in water or any other liquid, has all natural ingredients and not artificial colors or sweeteners. I recommend this product.
- A I always put my ingredients in my blender that way NO LUMPs-just spring in the allotted amount while ,oxomg-no problems
- A If it doesn't say gluten free - Don't buy it!
- A Yes, I have. If you want to make high protein pancakes use this recipe: 1 cup of oats processed in a blender or food processor. 3 eggs, 1 cup of pancake mix, then use milk for the liquid. Blend, add berries or whatever you want. You can also add whey, but don't add much because itwill change the consistency of the cakes, maybe 1/2 or 1/4 cup at most. If you add the protein from the oats, eggs, and milk, these are very high protein without the whey powder.
- A It doesn’t tell you, however I found that “natural Flavors is code for Msg. This is a problem for me but it is the best quality protein powder that quickly & easily absorbed. Hope it helps. T
- A No. It's dry powder like powdered milk. If mixed with liquid then it would require refrigeration if not consumed soon after mixing.

- A 98% lactose free. Mark. Herbalishous. Wayne, PA
- A If the product is lactose free it would state that on the label-BUT it does contain milk and does not state that it is lactose free-so "IF" you are lactose intolerant don't use a product that does not STATE all ingredients!
- A It's listed as being manufactured in Leonia, New Jersey (seen next to the Supplement Facts on the label).
- A The protein is 100% whey based but there is a small % (most likely less than 1 - 2%) of soy lecithin as an emulsifier. Since lecithin is a highly refined ingredient there is little to no protein left so it is an incidental ingredient. If it is an allergen concern, recommendation is to avoid. If you are not concerned about allergen, this is an excellent product.
- A We go through it average but it has a good expiration date months out and if you keep it tightly closed in dry place months.
- A suitable for lacto-vegetarians. Mark. Herbalishous. Wayne, PA. Does not specifically state it is lactose free.
- A I don’t know because Solgar doesn’t divulge source on label!
- A Maybe the label says what a serving is. My guess would be four.
- A I use Solgar whey to go protein powder. It does not contain soy. I use one scoop in blender with some milk, fruit and sometimes a little yogurt. Very happy with this product. i hope this helped you.
- A The product is on the Amazon website and I still order so not sure what your problem might be
- A It does not indicate on the label that the item is Kosher.
- A Women's Best Whey Protein Powder is recommended by many, although I've never used it.
- A You can add to either, but not sure how it would taste with water. I usually add it to a smoothie or to yogurt.
