  1. Petroleum jelly (also called petrolatum) is not petroleum oil (crude oil). Petrolatum jelly can clog pores but that's why the instructions advise to wipe off before showering. I would reccommended not leave it on after work outs and wash immediately. I know the refining process of Petrolatum jelly is to remove carcinogenic which can maybe cause cause cancer if left in the jelly. (But so does your cell phone and many everyday things.) I recommend testing the product in a lab to see how refine it is or ask the company about the details of the used protroleum jelly seeing how refined it is. I also reccommended testing the product on one part of the skin and wait 24 to 48 hrs to see how your body react. Always listen to your body and it's reaction as it can vary from person to person.
