Questions and answers of the customers

  1. A Glutamine is not the same as glutamic acid. The amino acid glutamic acid is converted in your body into glutamine, but everyone converts it at a different rate. To better communicate this to our consumers, we have revised our packaging. This new packaging will be on shelves soon.
  2. A Hello,There is a certain date that you need to cancel by (specific to your subscribe and save) for the cancellation to go through. As always, you may also return the items receive a full refund. We hope this information is helpful. Have a great day!In Health,The Vega Team
  3. A Hi There, Yes! All Vega products, including our Vega Sport® Protein is dairy free. Hope you're able to give it a try! In Health,Kim McDevitt, MPH RD | Vega Senior Education Specialist
  4. A Just like socks in the dryer, sometimes things go missing. All joking aside, sometimes the scoop find its way to the bottom of the tub. I recommend giving your tub a little shake and it may make its way to the top again. If it doesn’t appear or if you would prefer to use a spoon, move to plan B. The serving size of our products is measured in grams. Technically speaking, grams are a unit of measuring mass, commonly used in cooking to measure powders, whereas tablespoon is a measurement of volume, commonly used in cooking to measure liquids. For Sport Protein in Chocolate, one serving amounds to roughly 4.2 tablespoons.
  5. A Hi there,Oh no! We're so sorry to hear about your experience. Please reach out to [email protected] and someone would be more than happy to help you out.Less than 2% of this product consists of Stevia leaf extract.Hope this helps! In health,The Vega Team
  6. A Without going into too much detail there are some added ingredients like tart cherries and turmeric. The new formula has more bcaa's however, to me the original formula tastes better and the original formula has less calories which matters to me. The new formula has 5 more grams of protein than the original, but for me that's not worth the extra calories. Hope this helps.
  7. A We recommend our Sport Protein Post Workout to help replenish your carbohydrates to help rebuild muscle and support recovery. You can take Sport Protein on non-workout days but it would depend on why you are looking to use it. If it's just to use it as a protein shake then I would recommend one of our non-sport protein powders. In Health, Siona Baldwin Consumer Educator
  8. A I think it's the glue on the seal!! Mine was the same way. I had to soak it in hot water, wait, and then shove a butterknife under the lid and pry it open with all my might. Straight up, no twisting. Just pry it off. After soaking in hot water and waiting for the glue to loosen. The glue on the seal left a paper-stuck residue around the rim and inside the lid--hence my glue theory.I hope this helps other people!! I have emailed the company about it (May 23, 2021).
  9. A We don't use any artificial sweeteners in any of our products! If you're looking for a powder that's keto-friendly with no stevia, you should check out Protein & Greens in the natural/plain unsweetened flavor.
  10. A I tried putting some other vanilla protein powder in my coffee recently and it was horrible.

  12. A The images should be there, but from time to time Amazon updates their website and our images get jumbled around. We are working on updating this now, but for the time being, you can find all the nutritional information for this protein powder on our site here: https://myvega.com/collections/sport-nutrition/products/vega-sport-premium-protein?variant=30113532772395 .
  13. A Hi,Thanks for asking. Our Chocolate Vega Sport® Protein is flavored with cocoa powder and is sweetened with our favorite zero calorie sweetener, stevia. I think you'll find this shake to take like a creamy chocolate shake and hopefully love it! Because of the greens in our Protein & Greens shake and differences in the proteins we're using in each product you might find these products to have a slightly different taste or texture. Hope you give it a try or reach out to use at [email protected] so we can help you out :)Best,Kim McDevitt, MPH RD | Vega Senior Education Specialist

  16. A Hi there! Thanks for this question. We always recommend you check with your healthcare practitioner on whether or not you personally should use any Vega® while pregnant or breastfeeding. You might wonder why we recommend that. That’s because your nutritional needs are unique when you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Not only is additional energy required during pregnancy to support the demands of a growing fetus, raising your metabolism, but folic acid, choline, iron, calcium and vitamin B6, C, and E requirements may also increase. Protein needs may also increase during the second half of pregnancy. Total calorie, protein and calcium needs may also increase while breastfeeding. So what works for you now, may not be suited for to you during pregnancy or while you’re breastfeeding. All that said, we understand you want to do what’s best for you and your baby. These are simply guidelines and don’t take your individual needs into consideration. Your doctor has the full scope of your overall health and wellness goals so they will be a better judge in determining whether this is a time when you should be introducing a new food or supplement into your routine or continuing with your current intake. In health,The Vega Team
